Horror, and adult romance
The Harry Potter series, Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, recently Six of Crows, These Violent Delights, We Hunt the Flame. In picture books - the gashlycrumb tinies by Edward Gorey, anything by Oliver Jeffers - stuck is my fav, grandad's island by Benji Davies, the proudest blue, and a lot more that I can't remember right now.
