I'm looking for someone who can take a deep dive into my book as a whole and provide critical feedback on everything from plot holes to character inconsistencies. I have a very thick skin after years of writing classes and want to hear it all. I'd love someone I can bounce ideas off of who can provide "what if you do this instead" type advice.
I'm currently editing a literary suspense novel, but I also have projects in YA light fantasy, upmarket women's fiction, humor, and picture books.
I probably wouldn't be the best match for middle grade, romance, horror, steampunk.
Anything by Tana French and Ruth Ware where I can learn while reading, but guilty pleasures are definitely Harry Potter and Hunger Games.
I've been writing for 12 years and have taken advanced novel writing classes in the UCLA Writers Program. I signed with an agent last year for my first literary suspense novel and am in the final stretches of editing before we go out on submission, and I'd love to find a critique partner who can help me across the finish line!
