Historical romance set in the mid 18th Century. Think vibes of Dangerous Liasons, The Duchess (with Kiera Knightly), Belle, Aristocrats, and a touch of Harlots
I can never really get into contemporary, paranormal, and alien/non-human
Hands down "The Duke's Perfect Wife" by Jennifer Ashley. Favourite romance novel ever. Her entire Mackenzie series comes a close second, as does The Duchess in His Bed by Lorraine Heath, The Leopard Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt, Dreaming of You and Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas, The Countess Conspiracy by Courney Milan, The Black Hawk by Joanna Bourne, The Hunter by Kerrigan Byrne, The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare, and Never Seduce a Scot by Maya Banks.
Non-romance faves include: The entire Outlander Series, Harry Potter, The Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simmons, everything Madeline Miller, Stardust by Neil Gaiman, The ASOIAF series, She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parcker-Chan, The Living Reed by Pearl S. Buck, I, Claudius by Robert Graves, and Beneath a Scarlet Sky by Mark T. Sullivan
