- I'm not sure if this is wishful thinking, but I'd really like to meet someone I can become friends with, as well as partners.
I dabble in genres. Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Mystery, Thrillers, Action & Adventure, Romance... I've written it all (not very well but written all the same). My current MS is a YA mystery/romance titled 'The Ludicrous Notion of Revenge'. It is about sixteen-year-old Heather Falls, who watched an assassin (helped by her uncle) murder her father when she was only thirteen years old. She's been chasing vengeance ever since.
Three years of frustration and dead ends comes to an end when she swallows her pride and asks her academic rival, Aaron Parker, a seemingly upbeat guy with his own dark past, for help. They track down Heather's long-lost aunt, who tells Heather that her father was actually a government spy. Suddenly, Heather finds herself unravelling secrets about her family, sinking in a hole of hurt and anger, questioning everything she had once deemed concrete.
