In my early 20s I studied Art & Economics at the University of Pisa through SUNY Oswego. As an adolescent I was tracked into a unique gifted and talented program, and in High School I took as many opportunities to express my artistic and literary nature as possible. Following a family tragedy, I put my purely artistic nature aside, and learned engineering drafting which led to formal engineering and computer science studies. After working as an engineering assistant, I obtained NYS certifications and transitioned into teaching. I eventually taught the national Project Lead the Way curriculum at the middle and high school levels. I will be happily returning to my artistic roots full-time in early 2018 after 20+ years of engineering and teaching.
