Contemporary romance, with an emphasis on multicultural/interracial stories
Horror, dystopian, high/dark fantasy. Anything with graphic violence or disturbing themes. I'm also picky about thrillers, mysteries, and literary fiction.
Mostly contemporary romances (YA/NA/Adult) at any heat level. I also love reading cozy mysteries.
I am currently working on two different manuscripts this year; one's in the editing stage (NA) and one is currently in the beta read stage (adult contemporary). My work as a PhD student often takes writing and reading time away from me, but if I'm interested in the premise then I'll be willing to read anything. I also plan on participating in NaNoWriMo this year to write an NA novel that I'm planning to query to US agents and publishing houses once it's finished.
