I'm really looking for CPs who are in it for the long haul. Who can be blunt in their feedback but also kind and point out what they like. Someone who likes talking about the ups and downs of writing and gushing over new ideas. Someone who wants a friend and a CP.
I write a wide variety of things actually. From middle grade to YA, I've done fantasy, contemporary, sci-fi, horror, fairytale retellings, magical realism. Just all over the board. My main focus right now though is my middle-grade novels, which are all fantasy/adventure.
I'm probably not the best for anything adult. I don't mind historical fiction but I'm not the best for it, I mean I can tell you if it's an interesting story and the plot flows and the characters are good but bad for the historically accurate side, so if you're looking for that. Besides that, I'm pretty open! Good for YA and MG! And some NA, also.
Harry Potter (of course), Percy Jackson, The Raven Cycle, Six of Crows, A Darker Shade of Magic. In MG Diana Wynne Jones especially Howl's Moving Castle. Fable Haven. Ranger's Apprentice.
I'm very serious about writing, I've been writing for six years, since I was 16. I love whimsy and magic and books that are just fun. I'm a music fanatic. Drink way too much coffee. Love to bake and make the best banana bread. Oh and cats. I aspire to be a crazy cat lady. If you love writing and love talking about it, we'll be a good match.
