I like to treat the critique process kind of like a user test. For that reason, I would like to find somebody good at describing their thoughts, feelings, and reactions and at relevant points in the text. I also try to do this to give people I critique the most valuable data for revisions.
Short stories that are sincere and reflective. They will usually have some type of a speculative element.

I made a goal last summer to write at least one short story per week and managed to stick with it! I intend to keep on doing this! I encourage any other new writer to do the same!
