Passion- Someone who loves this and is doing it not because they had an idea and figured why not, but because they have stories they can't not write.
Dedication- Someone who doesn't see this as a hobby and has and continues to put in the work. I will give my full effort to every manuscript I write and read, I hope for the same.
An adventurous spirit- I'd like someone who knows the rules, but also knows that every rule is waiting to be broken (by the right story).
Having said that, I would never say no to anyone who wanted to work with me on their story. I know it's tough to get started, and if I can offer something to someone looking to get going I'm happy to help.

I can't. There's too much. But I'd say my biggest influence in children's writing was AA Milne's Winnie the Pooh.
I studied many types of writing. Fiction, Non-fiction, Children's Books, Playwriting, Screenwriting. I believe in the power of words to change a mood, a mind, and the world.
