Two things I value above almost anything in the world are relationships and honesty. I am looking for long-term critique partnerships, so we can learn each other, grow together, push each other closer to publication and one day celebrate each others success. I don't like sugar-coating and appreciate direct, honest answers. I also would love someone who isn't afraid to ask the difficult/obvious questions, but I believe that criticism should (almost) always be constructive.
Primarily picture books and board books. My natural instinct is to rhyme, although I'm slowly discovering and feeling more comfortable with my prose-writing side. In the picture book realm, no. Though, I don't think I have much to offer outside of picture/board books at this time.

I'm a wife and mother to three young kids. I'm a part-time stay at home mom, part-time hospice nurse, full-time writer. I've spent the better part of the past two years learning everything I can and honing my skills, to make up for the years I spent ignoring the call to write. I love making connections and creating a sense of community.
