I am looking for a writer friend more than anything. To develop a friendship where we can swap work, discuss books and trust each other to deliver sensitive, honest constructive criticism.
I generally write fantasy, although my current WIP is more magical realism, inspired by The Picture of Dorian Gray. My other WIP is based on Japanese history and folklore, a topic very close to my heart.
I have critiqued many different genres in the past, from crime to fantasy to romance. I wouldn't say that there is any genre I wouldn't want to critique.
I can't answer this!! Some of my favourite authors include Daphne du Maurier, Laini Taylor, Austen, Charlotte Brontë, Alex E. Harrow to name just a few...
I am half Japanese, half Scottish and currently living in southern Spain. I work with horses for my day job and have always been very passionate about books and writing. I am constantly looking to improve my work and would love to be able to write full time.
