I am seeking fellow writers to help me improve my manuscript on all levels, from developmental critiques to the nuances of wording and grammar. I give thorough, thoughtful, and diplomatic critiques that range from suggestions on how to improve a sentence, to my questions and concerns about the character's relatability and the plot pacing, and I want to get the same kind of dynamic, deep, and considerate critique in return.
My writing tends to mix sci-fi, fantasy, and horror in a universe of my own, with a little steampunk aesthetic in the mix. I think the themes of my writing can appeal to a broad age range from YA to Adult.
I'm not interested in children's literature, non-fiction, or romance.
I'd rather list some of my favorite authors. Kurt Vonnegut, Isaac Asimov, C.S. Forester, William Gibson, Neil Gaiman, Tolkein, George RR Martin, Robert Jordan, and on and on.
I live in Chicago with my partner and our two cats, and I am lucky enough to have a job that leaves me with a lot of down time to read, write, and critique, so I am eager to take advantage of my good fortune and exchange thorough, constructive critiques with fellow writers.
