Romance - just not my thing!
I prefer to give names of favourite authors than books, and that way you know who has influenced my writing. Stephen King, Chevy Stevens, Harlan Coben to name just a few.
I work as a freelance writer so I'm writing all the time and that has definitely helped to hone my skills as an author, however, I know that in this craft we are constantly learning. I've been working on my first novel, Entwined, for around 5 years now and would like to finally take this to the next level. I feel that the best way to do that is to have one or more critique partners who can be honest with me about whether my story works and what might be done to improve it.
