I need honesty. I want someone to point out plot holes, to tell me if my dialogue is jerky, to constructively criticize my story.
My current WIP is an adult contemporary. My MC is a woman who's just had a baby, and has another one abandoned at her doorstep.
High fantasy is not something I am good at following.
I like books with real characters, meaning ones you don't like all the time. I can't say I have a favorite book, but ones I tend to go back to are Where'd You Go Bernadette and Beloved.
I've been published in professional journals in the library world. I spent 10 years in libraries before taking time off to care for my daughter.
